Mukobeko Maximum Security Prison, Female Section, Christmas 2012
Just like 2010 and 2012 supplies for a special Christmas meal was presented to the women of the Mukobeko Maximum Security Prison by Hope In Christ Zambia. The presentation of the Christmas goods is a highlight in the year of Hope In Christ Zambia Prison Ministries. The items, worth 1,400,000 Kwachas, presented were:
20 Chickens
50 Kg Plain Flour
25 Kg Chinese Cabbage
6 trays of soft drinks
2 trays of peanut butter
2 tray of kitchen sugar
20 Liters of cooking oil
5 bags of lolly pops
5 boxes of cookies
5 boxes of nutrition drink (Soja shake)
12 boxes of tea
5 packs of toilet paper
When the 15 children inside the prison got wind of the arrival of Pastor Kwacha, Brother Jose and Lilian, they came over and collected two lolly pops each, which were enjoyed immediately.
After a word from Brother Jose and Pastor Kwacha, Pastor Sharon said a prayer of thanks and a prayer of safety for Pastor Kwacha, Brother Jose and Lilian. As the group of Hope In Christ Zambia left the 110 ladies at the Mukobeko Prison started a song a praise, which could be heard far beyond the prison walls.
